Support the MENA sales strategy in line with overall strategy organisational structure and processes in line with given frames internal and external requirements in the Eastern Hemisphere Communicate local sales strategies to MENA management Ops team and support the sales plan development to achieve overall strategies Manage the MENA Sales function to ensure best practices are followed costs are controlled the team maximises revenue generation and contribution to the business operating profit and increases the value added to the company Meet MENA sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements preparing an annual budget scheduling expenditures analysing variances initiating corrective actions put in place adequate operational planning and financial control systems closely monitor the operating and financial results against plans and budgets Manage the MENA Drilling Measurement Steerable Technologies DMST P L coaching your team on their impact on the P L Understand and communicate our customers buying patternsprocesses providing reactive and proactive customer support with clear defined and documented follow up plan to be executed Communicate and regularly monitor progress of revenue targets to the MENA team Promote development of new and existing business leads to Sales team obtaining regular feedback and status reports Maintain high level visibility of customer strategies across MENA and communicate changes new strategies to MENA management team - JIRA Evaluate and improve sales and sales support structure and internal processes in order to improve performance and team effectiveness Monitor customer issues feedback deadlines and deliverables and ensure customer issues are handled effectively and quickly adapting improving and communicating internal processes as and where necessary Support MENA sales with more complex customer needs attending senior management meetings where necessary Tight management of regional teams sales pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and sales tracking Chair regular team meetings collecting monthlyquarterly sales and activity plans to present to key stakeholders of the business Ensure the regional teams effectively qualify opportunities offering insight into the sales process including conversion to order KPIsmetrics and value add Maintain full understanding of existing competitive technology and market pressures and trends identifying areas for product development ensuring NOV is at the forefront of the market Promote intercompany collaboration and the communication of leads between countriesregions Share best practice methods processes and ideas across the businesss countriesregions Work closely with direct reports in refining sales skills fulfilling strategies to drive results Lead the sales team inclusive of managing performance coaching mentoring hiring and career development Participate in the training of personnel recommend training needs to the Senior Management and evaluate the effectiveness of all completed training Direct the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure technology equipment systems or other assets and resources Review analyses of activities costs operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives Accountable for safety product quality service levels cost objectives capital projects training regulatory matters employee engagement and balancing inventory and Account Receivables Provide career progression to team members encouraging them to develop skills to move forward within your team identify key areas for development Travel as and when required Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager Accountable for account receivables Take ownership of DSO targets Focus on Working Capital primarily inventory and AR controls Qualifications SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Min 5 yeas experience in directional drilling MLWD Min 3 years proven sales record Bachelors degree or above Strategic Creates highly effective strategic vision prepares well in advance to take fullest advantage of the changing environment Strategic agility and innovation management Able to understand the business needs and drivers and align with the strategic initiative Business Acumen Anticipates impact of change and directs self and others in smoothly shifting gears Dealing with ambiguity Operating Adept at exercising good judgement sometimes with incomplete information whilst being constrained by tight deadlines Timely Decision Making Be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocks Informing Be quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately Priority Setting Able to define work within and improve business processes based on immediate and future business needs Process management Energy Deals with corrective feedback in a manner that inspires accountability and self-redirection among colleagues and direct reports Managerial courage Considers the overall organisational culture when assembling individual talent Assessing talent Organisational Is a consummate networker who can initiate relationships within and between organisations that leverage the strengths and capabilities of all parties Organisational agility Personal and Interpersonal Strategically plans ways to demonstrate superior customer service for country stakeholders Customer Focus Instinctively discerns what drives his or her audience and deftly ignites and steers their sense of purpose to a common goal Managing vision and purpose Builds mission-driven cohesive teams that project a team spirit that inspires and motivates departments and organisations Building effective teams Firm and diplomatic when negotiating Negotiating
