Role Summary This role with Baker Hughes GE TPS business shall be responsible for defining executing monitoring delivering all localization related initiatives commitments to customers drives actions to implement supply chain strategic initiatives across MENAT India will overview all TPS production sites in region lead activities concerned with construction of structures facilities systems on projects will report directly to MENAT India TPS VP dotted line with Global TPS Supply Chain VP Essential Responsibilities Assess all necessary Localization initiatives across countries evaluate effectiveness of current strategy and form a baseline across all product linesDevelop the necessary strategy and work with leadership to define a realistic yet ambitious future state for localization across countries constantly identifying cross-synergiesEstablish trusted relationships with all segments and horizontal functions leadership as well as the BHGE Localization teamsPartner with segment and PC leaders to develop new local growth opportunities explore and evaluate potential joint venture opportunities with certified local partnersDevelop clear action plan with action owners periodic targets measurable KPIs and establish a rigorous operational rhythmFormally engage immediate and extended localization partners across ITO-OTR determine responsibilities and define communication flowsDevelop and launch marketing and PR campaigns to highlight efforts and results of localization with the customers He She will be responsible for major and complex projects with long term business implicationsDevelop strategic plan for Mfg sites and coordinate internal contributors Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in productivity customer service quality inventory and Environmental Health Safety EHS Support OCPH reduction plan across the regionSupport Short Long-term global footprint strategy rooftop consolidation regional localization Qualifications Requirements Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or college preferably in EngineeringProven years of Oilfield Industry management experience with a minimum of 12-15 yearsWillingness and ability to travel to required BHGE sites and suppliers Desired Characteristics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Strong negotiating ability Strong financial quantitative and data analysis skills Strong project management and process improvement skills Proven track record of establishing a vision strategy and executing business plans capable of planning and executing major initiatives BB Six Sigma certified Ability to motivate in a cross-functional multi-site global team environment Ability to influence at all levels of the organization Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong business and financial acumen Self-directed highly detail-oriented organized and flexible About Us GE is the world s Digital Industrial Company transforming industry with software-defined machines and solutions that are connected responsive and predictive Through our people leadership development services technology and scale GE delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry Locations United Arab Emirates Dubai
