Work Title Regional Sales Manager - Measurement SolutionsResponsibilities Regional Sales Manager RSM will develop and execute strategies to win business in existing markets drive profitable growth and expand market share while developing a high performing team capable of understanding the market and customer needs Promotes and sells technical andor nontechnical products andor services and solutions Markets the organizations products brands andor services Develops new accounts andor expands existing accounts Ensures that the organizations sales initiatives are fully compliant with applicable regulations contracts and all company policiesThe RSM are responsible accountable for the Budget Forecast and Actual Inbound opportunities initiated within their assigned region area The RSM will manage and share monthly forecasted opportunity lists Additionally the RSM will need to capture all opportunities in the CRM selectedIn the event the RSM has direct reports the RSM is responsible to develop and use management tools to ensure best communication and oversight over the activities covered by hisher direct reports The RSM will have to hold document regular 1 to 1 meetings discussions but also planning session and regular reporting meetingsDepending on the specific countries and geography the RSM is asked to cover the RSM may need to manage Third Party intermediary TPI or business partners It is the responsibility of the RSM to manage and monitor the TPI to develop and win business while maintaining the most stringent ethical and appropriate business relationship The RSM will strictly adhere to all regulations and processes set out by the compliance groupTopline responsibilities may vary depending on the geographical regionMain Tasks Provide strategic and tactical sales direction Establish close relationships at senior levels with current and potential customers be able to gain direct access to the customers executive team Oversee Direct Sales Service Sites within their assigned territory Develop manage and maintain sales activities strategies and customer relationship related to the products services and solutions provided Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements managing and meeting budgetary sales quotas and daily business within the constraints of operational and departmental budgets Maintains and expands customer base by leading and coaching sales representatives building and maintaining rapport with key customers identifying new customer opportunities Establish and maintain performance objectives and target account plans to maintain key customer relationships and increase revenues in the territory while maintaining quality standards productivity and profitability through performance goals of the department Creates monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements Acts as voice of customer within TechnipFMC Collaborate with product management engineering field service manufacturing and other departments or business units to communicate and enhance business intelligence regarding product enhancements pricing strategies promotional plans etc Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by participating in recruiting selecting orienting training internal external hands-on assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining employees communicating job expectations planning monitoring appraising and reviewing job contributions planning and reviewing compensation actions provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies and established procedures that affect immediate organization Complete reporting requirements as applicable which may include updating customer information in the customer relations management system Areas sales manager generally will have direct reports however in a few instances this manager may be responsible for a geographical area and not have any subordinate employees Acts as advisor to subordinate s to meet schedules andor resolve technical problems Drive KAM and pursue STAT plan to develop customer play booksRequirements Minimum of 12 years of related experience three of which should be in a Lead or Supervisory role or equivalent combination of education and experience Degree preferred Proven sales experience andor marketing management role Oil and Gas industry knowledge is required Preferred experience within Measurement product lines andor terminal automation markets Experience working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors including an understanding of current business trends Ability to act on own authority as needed with minimal supervision required for daily activities Experience leading a cooperative effort among team members Must have excellent interpersonal negotiating written and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts Must be outgoing self-directed creative to be able to identify and maximize opportunities Travel is required by car and airplane- mostly domestic 40 of time but may include international travel Valid drivers license Ability to build and lead a high performance sales team along with talent succession planning Experience and expertise using CRM to lead a high performance sales team Ability to prepare and present concise proposals to Senior Management to facilitate decision making Possess effective leadership and communication ability within a team environment Demonstrate exceptional negotiation motivating planning and interpersonal and communication skills Solid understanding of financial factors such as costs margins and profit impact of decisions Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast paced environmentWork EnvironmentSpends 70 of the time in customer office
