JOB TITLE: Senior Advisor xe2x80x93 Learning and Performance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing Learning Projects: Manage the Petrofac Academy Pathway programs for leadership and Project Management together with other core bespoke programmes. Identifying training providers, agreeing upon the learning outcomes, leading the nominations process within the business; handling communications; liaising with internal speakers; intervening to ensure student take-up; and managing the after-action review of programs.
- Self directed digital learning platforms. Responsible for the integration and promotion of chosen platform while ensuring ROI is reported to senior business leaders.
Ensuring the development of learning pathways for core business areas across the 4 levels of leadership (Supervisor, Manager, Business leader, Executive)
- Support Head of Learning in Learning interventions by working with Senior Management, and Functional Departments by scoping out specific initiatives, planning, designing, and delivering them to the internal clientxe2x80x99s satisfaction. Work with internal customers to diagnose the need for appropriate L&D; interventions to achieve identified productivity, efficiency or effectiveness requirements.
- Training Needs Consultancy (TNC) to identify priorities for training and learning ensures delivery against these prioritised training needs, with fit-for-purpose training where relevant.
- Team budget management.
Responsible for the data and representation of our invoices and financial commitments and relevant vendor management
- Managing Oracle Learn: Act as a LMS consultant on different functionalities of Oracle Learn, create and assign courses on Learn, act as an SME for the platform
- Document and report on progress of L&D; projects/ interventions and when needed, provide facilitation support for Technical, Supervisory and Management training programs.
- Validate and cross-reference employee needs based on Talent Management/Succession Planning/competency assessment etc.
- Communicate and, where required, follow up and coach management on specific L&D; initiatives.
- Identify and utilize the synergies between various ongoing L&D; initiatives to support the business in meeting its L&D;, Talent, and Effectiveness needs.
- Participate and where required lead discussions with the internal and/or external audit teams.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strategic thinking: The ability to think strategically and understand how training and development initiatives fit into an organization's overall goals and objectives is essential.
- Data analysis: Able to analyze data and identify trends and patterns to help make informed decisions and measure the impact of training programs.
- Communication and collaboration: Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization is essential. Ability to design communication plans that support thr role out of learning pathways and tools essential
- Instructional design: Must possess instructional design skills to develop effective and engaging training materials.
- Technology proficiency is essential: Must be proficient in various technological tools and platforms used to deliver training, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and virtual classroom platforms. Competency with Oracle LEARN an advantage. Understanding of self directed training platforms an advantage
- Project management: Must have project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget and have awareness and experience of the role Project Management plays in an Oil and Gas services provider.
- Change management:
Able to understand and manage the impact of change on individuals and the organization.
- Coaching and mentoring: Awareness of the power of coaching and mentoring integration. Ability to coach and mentor employees to enhance their skills and develop their potential an advantage.
- Continuous learning: Must have a passion for continuous learning and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in the field.
