Alphex Logistics, a leading provider of freight forwarding and logistics solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive cum Surveyor to join our team.
This unique role combines your sales expertise with the ability to assess client needs through on-site surveying. In this results-oriented position, you'll leverage your knowledge of the freight forwarding industry to cultivate new client relationships, generate qualified leads, conduct thorough on-site surveys, and close deals for our industry-leading services.
Responsibilities :
Sales :
Prospect and qualify leads through various channels (phone, email, social media)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition of Alphex Logistics' services
Negotiate and close sales deals, exceeding assigned sales targets
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Generate accurate quotes and proposals
Surveying : Conduct on-site surveys to assess client needs and shipment requirements
Evaluate cargo volume, weight, dimensions, and any special handling needs
Collaborate with clients to develop optimal logistics solutions
- Document findings and recommendations for accurate quotations
- Qualifications :
Minimum 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding and relocation.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry
Ability to build trust with clients
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for conducting on-site surveys)
- Experience with freight surveying a plus
