We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team, specializing in aluminium and glass construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, cost plans, and bills of quantities for a wide range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
- Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and other project documentation to determine the scope and requirements of the project.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for project materials, labour, and equipment, using industry-standard software and tools.
Identify risks and opportunities associated with the project and provide recommendations to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives and timelines are met.
Prepare tender documents and manage the tender process, including liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to the project team, highlighting any variances or potential issues.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure accurate cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects, including change orders and variations.
Formulate a full complied BOQ of all required items.
- Desired Candidate Profile
B.E / B.Tech - Civil or a related field.
- Professional certification in facade engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facade engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to facade design and construction.
Experience working with various facade materials and systems, such as glass, aluminum, and curtain walls.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD programs.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: AED5,
- 00 - AED10,000.00 per month
