About Us:
Our restaurant in Dubai is seeking an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our team. We are looking for a skilled and passionate chef who can prepare traditional Indian bread, taftan, sheermal, and other tandoor specialties.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Indian bread, taftan, sheermal, and other tandoor specialties
- Manage the tandoor oven and ensure it is maintained at the correct temperature
- Develop new recipes and menu ideas
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Tandoor Chef
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Food safety certification
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Ability to speak Hindi or Urdu (optional)
