Job Description
1.
To conceptualize, develop, implement, and co-manage Islamic Products across Group business.
2. Team player with ability to take initiative and demonstrate assertiveness.
3. Ability to deal with all levels of people in the project development and launch phase and deliver multiple tasks involved in multiple product development projects.
4. Demonstrate good networking skills and he/she will need to develop strong relationships with the relevant product areas and reporting lines within the bank and where appropriate with the target client base.
5. Good knowledge of banking processes and policies to ensure a viable product launch.
6. High level awareness of and familiarity with the target market for Shariah-compliant products.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Building relationships with front and support departments to get a complete understanding of the systems related to product development.
2.
Oversee Shariah Compliance and participate in activities related to product management and marketing with the help of relevant counterparts across various geographic regions.
3. Manage the developments and launch of new products in close liaison with support areas such as Legal and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Degree or equivalent education preferred.
2. Experience in General Banking and Product development essential.
3. Strong knowledge of Islamic Banking and Finance essential.
4. Diverse background, preferably having worked in several different markets highly desirable.
5. Strong leadership and initiative skills.
6. Solution focused; team player with a strong hands-on attitude and aptitude essential.
