We are working with a local government entity that is looking to add to its legal team based in Abu Dhabi.
Our client is seeking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel who will report directly to the Chief Legal Counsel. This is a varied and stimulating role where some key responsibilities include:
1. Working on international and regional corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures.
2. Negotiating various types of commercial contracts.
3. Managing procurement matters.
4. Drafting IP & technology contracts.
Applicants should have a common law qualification coming from jurisdictions such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada.
You would ideally have at least 8 years' PQE gained in a reputable law firm and in-house entity. Experience of working in the UAE or the wider Gulf would be an advantage but not an absolute necessity.
Salary: £135K - £145K tax free + benefits
