Senior BIM Structural Modeller Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Structural Modeller with a strong background in creating complex structural models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM modelling, with demonstrated expertise in producing detailed and accurate structural models for various types of projects. Responsibilities:

- BIM Modelling: Utilize BIM software (such as Revit Structure, Tekla Structures, or similar) to develop detailed structural models based on project specifications, engineering drawings, and design requirements.
- Complex Modelling: Demonstrate proficiency in creating complex structural elements,





including beams, columns, trusses, and connections, while ensuring model accuracy and integrity.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to integrate structural models with architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) disciplines, ensuring coordination and clash-free designs.
- Model Coordination: Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve clashes between structural elements and other building systems, ensuring constructability and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Detailing: Develop detailed structural drawings and documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules, to communicate design intent and construction requirements effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks and reviews of structural models to ensure compliance with project standards, engineering principles, and industry best practices.
- Standards Compliance:





Ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines established by project stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior BIM modellers and structural technicians, fostering their professional development and promoting best practices in BIM modelling.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural BIM modelling, with a focus on complex projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, industrial, infrastructure).
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit Structure or Tekla Structures, with advanced skills in creating parametric families, custom components,





and complex structural geometries.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles, engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex modelling challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination tools and processes, such as clash detection, model federation, and Navisworks.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to BIM modelling, including BIM Level of Detail (LOD) and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
