Key Responsibilities:
- Cooking and Preparation:
Prepare and cook Japanese dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Manage specific sections of the kitchen, such as sushi, ramen, or tempura.
Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and other junior staff in their duties.
Provide training on Japanese cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Conduct regular checks on ingredients and finished dishes.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Safety and Hygiene:
* Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
