Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Management:
Manage a section of the kitchen, such as sushi, tempura, or grilling.
- Prepare and cook dishes to the restaurants standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor DCDPs, Commis Chefs, and other junior staff.
Delegate tasks and ensure smooth operation within the section.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards for food presentation, taste, and portion control.
- Conduct regular quality checks on dishes and ingredients.
Inventory and Ordering:
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Safety and Hygiene:
* Adhere to all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Ensure that the kitchen and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
