Position: Commis Pastry
- Location: Dubai
- Reports to: Pastry Chef/Sous Chef
- Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Commis Pastry to join our pastry team. The Commis Pastry will assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pastry arts, a willingness to learn, and a keen eye for detail.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Follow recipes and instructions from the Pastry Chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in plating and presentation of desserts
- Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure smooth operations
- Requirements:*
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification in pastry arts
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Strong passion for pastry and desserts
- Willingness to learn and develop pastry skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in pastry presentation
