Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offer a friendly and professional introduction, and manage the check-in process.
Seating Management: Allocate seating based on guest preferences, reservation status, and table availability, ensuring an efficient seating plan.
- Reservations: Manage and confirm reservations, maintain an up-to-date reservation book, and handle special requests or arrangements.Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, provide information about the menu or venue, and resolve any initial concerns or complaints in a courteous manner.
- Waitlist Management: Maintain a waitlist during busy periods, estimate wait times accurately, and communicate updates to guests.
Coordination:
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service, and assist with any special accommodations.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the front-of-house area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting, is advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor, with a friendly and approachable attitude.Flexibility:
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
