Senior BIM MEP Modeler Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Modeler with extensive experience in creating detailed MEP models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP modelling, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects across various sectors. Responsibilities:

- BIM Modelling: Utilize BIM software (such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, or similar) to develop detailed MEP models based on project specifications, engineering drawings, and design requirements.
- Mechanical Systems: Model HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, including ductwork, air handlers, diffusers,





and other components, ensuring accuracy and coordination with architectural and structural elements.
- Electrical Systems: Create electrical models for power distribution, lighting, and communication systems, including conduits, cables, panels, fixtures, and equipment, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Plumbing Systems: Develop plumbing models for water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring coordination with architectural and structural elements.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate MEP models with other disciplines, identifying and resolving clashes and conflicts.
- Clash Detection: Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve clashes between MEP systems and other building elements, ensuring constructability and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Detailing:





Develop detailed MEP drawings and documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and legends, to communicate design intent and construction requirements effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks and reviews of MEP models to ensure compliance with project standards, engineering principles, and industry best practices.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines established by project stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP BIM modelling,





with a focus on complex projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, industrial, institutional).
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP, with advanced skills in creating parametric families, custom components, and complex MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex modelling challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination tools and processes, such as clash detection, model federation, and Navisworks.






- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to MEP BIM modelling, including BIM Level of Detail (LOD) and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
