A Sharjah-based local bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice President for their Internal Audit division. Due to UAE's nationalisation initiative, this role is strictly for a UAE National with Family Book.
About the AVP, Internal Audit (UAE National only) role:
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for delivering efficient Operations and Credit Audit for the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure audit engagements are executed systematically
- Identify various risk issues such as counter-party, market, liquidity and operational risk
- Prepare comprehensive audit plans and prioritise audit assignments based on risk assessment
- Review and maintain compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CFA, FRM, CIA are an advantage
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Internal Audit, in particular credit audit
- Experience managing teams
- Excellent communication skills
