An HR Administrator performs the basic functions of the HR department, handling areas such as personnel management, social welfare and the maintenance of HR records. An HR Administrator often plays an instrumental role in many HR functions for various projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To manage end to end Human Resources activities, Recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Statutory Compliance, Employee Engagement Activities.
· To coordinate with the HODs and understand their manpower requirements and fill the vacancies at the earliest.
· To maintain employee attendance.
· Ensures accurate database of staff records, which should be constantly updated.
· Implements and follows through Employees Recognition Programs, i.e. Employee of the Month, Employee of the Year.
· Be visible and accessible to all employees and follow through all actions.
· Be effective in utilization of employees profile and be consistent in delivery of services.
· Maintain strong relationship and goodwill with all employees.
· Handles complaints and counselling; resolving grievances or queries that any of the employees have and escalating to the right level depending on the nature of grievance or issue.
· Facilitate the process of staff recruitment: keep records of all approved Staff Requisition Forms, maintain Vacancy
Lists compilation, compile and screen applicants.
·Arranges exit interviews for staff who are leaving.
·Reviewing Job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers.
· Prepares and process Occupational Health Card and Cancellation process for resigned/terminated employees.
· Ensures that staff are able to attend to trainings, as required.
· Do other tasks, as required.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of HR management and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in employee relations.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
Human Resources (HR) certification is a plus.
Previous experience in recruitment is beneficial.
