**About the Role**

**Essential criteria**:

- Proven experience of teaching Business & Economics at key stage 3, 4 and 5
- A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
- Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
- A track record of securing outstanding student progress in Business and Economics
- A dynamic leader who can make a positive contribution to the efficient running of the department, marking examinations, leading departmental meetings, sharing resources and good practice, lesson observation, collaborative teaching, mentoring and active participation in CPD.
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- The ability to engage and inspire our students with outstanding IB Business and Economics teaching
- Commitment to developing the highest standards of learning and teaching
- Able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school
- Have high expectations of themselves and others
