Commercial Coordinator - Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers

Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers is the first of Hilton's luxury portfolio to operate in the capital of United Arab Emirates. The hotel is one of the five Etihad Towers and has 12 F&B; outlets, a spa, a private beach, three swimming pools and conference and event facilities. There are 576 guest rooms, suites and residences with views of the Arabian Gulf and there's a collection of luxury shops at The Avenue at Etihad Towers.

**Position Summary**







A Commercial Coordinator will fully support, from administrative, customer service, and sale lead development perspectives, the Commercial team to develop future and repeat business.

**What will I be doing?**
- Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e. g., proposals, contracts, purchase requests).
- Gather materials and assemble information packages (e. g., brochures, promotional materials).
- Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Hilton.
- Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e. g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
- Telemarketing, cold calls to potential clients
- Daily / Monthly and Yearly reports to be updated as required.
- Tracking brochure contributions, contracting, payments and production.
- Travel coordination, managing purchasing systems, etc.
- Managing content and digital assets.






- System maintenance, database, communication,
- Support GC&E; team with small enquiries.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Support Sales Team to monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
- Support the marketing activity plan to drive restaurant, room and meeting promotions through social media and traditional media
- Continued research and implantation of social media trends
- To maintain up-to-date digital presence on brand website, third party websites, review websites and social media platforms
- Maintain up-to-date information and photography across online presence
- Support public relations output, working with external PR agency to monitor coverage, media requests and competitions.






- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other Team Members.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.






- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

- Efficient usage of all systems and good maintenance
- Know all the functions of the computer system and eliminate minor errors in the software itself.
- Efficient and friendly support to other Team Member within own and other departments






- Take part and keep minutes of Communication Meetings on a regular basis.
- Approach supervisors in confidence if any problems arise.
- Always co-operate with colleagues and supervisors in the department.
- Participation in meetings and training courses
- Optimal communication and co-operation with all other departments, in particular Front Desk, C & E, Accounting
- Is obliged to take part in internal training courses and to implement what has been learnt in daily practice
- Open-minded & creative
- Fluent in English, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and is capable of presenting and communicating to external and internal customers and peers as per the Hilton standards
- Knowledge of excel and financial reporting
