Professional Certification on Compliance and Risk Management is a plus.
Master of Law is a plus. Competencies / Skills Experience Professional Certificates Education The Group Legal & Compliance Head is responsible for ensuring within the law at all times through providing primary legal support to management on corporate and commercial matters.
Developing and implementing an effective legal Compliance Program for alignment with the Local and Regional regulations and statutory laws. Legal & Compliance Head Permanent 6 months Management Advice on legal and commercial risks related to all company business activities.
Manage external legal counsels and liaise with Government bodies as required.
Manage all litigation for the corporate unit. Work with the management on the legal aspect of the corporate governance and compliance structure to be Develop and implement the Code of Business Ethics Update the Code of Business Ethics to suit the local and regional statutory laws that may be updated from time to time.
Ensure business conduct is in compliance with the approved code of Business Ethics Coordinate and liaise with the government departments to ensure compliance of the Code and business practice with the Local Regulations.
Evaluate and Validate business activities (e.g. investments)
and HCP/ HCO sponsorship requests for adherence to the code and to assess compliance risk Prepare Compliance variance reports and report to the Management on a regular basis Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices and address their concerns or questions on legal Investigate compliance violation and take appropriate measures including setting a plan to manage a crisis

**Experience**:
- Merger and Acquis ion: 10 years (preferred)
