General Accountant (Tagalog)

**Job Title: General Accountant**

**Must be a Tagalog Speaker**

**Location: Downtown, Dubai**

**Monday to Friday**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update accounting records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Compile and analyze financial information to ensure all transactions are accurately reflected in the financial statements.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,





and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising the company on potential impacts.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval of all company expenses.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager in financial analysis,





reporting, and other tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
