**Job Title: Events Manager**
**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Event Planning and Strategy**:
Develop comprehensive event plans, including goals, budget, timelines, and resources.
Create event concepts and themes that align with the organization's brand and goals.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for unique event experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event objectives and strategies.
**Logistics and Coordination**:
Manage all logístical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment, and technology requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee event setup,
including decorations, seating arrangements, signage, and audiovisual equipment.
**Budget Management**:
Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
Negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
**Team Leadership**:
Lead and supervise event staff, including coordinators, assistants, and volunteers.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities, providing clear instructions and guidance.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment to ensure successful event outcomes.
**Marketing and Promotion**:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and maximize attendance.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging event content, including invitations, social media campaigns, and promotional materials.
**Stakeholder Engagement**:
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and partners to align event objectives and expectations.
Maintain effective communication channels to address inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
**Risk Management**:
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions during events.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and obtain necessary permits or licenses.
**Post-Event Evaluation**:
Analyze event success and effectiveness based on predefined metrics and feedback.
Prepare post-event reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommendations for future events.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven 5-7 years of experience as an Events Manager,
with a successful track record of executing a variety of events special with government sector.
Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Budgeting and financial management expertise.
Leadership and team management experience.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
