Production Coordinator

AL Zayed Shades & Tents is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Production Coordinator to join our team in the Shades & Tents industry. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production processes, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and timely delivery of shades and tents to meet customer demands.

**Responsibilities**:

- Production Planning: Collaborate with the production manager to develop production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet project timelines and customer requirements.
- Material Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, fabrics, hardware, and other components needed for production.
- Inventory Management:





Monitor inventory levels, track materials usage, and coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize shortages.
- Production Coordination: Coordinate production activities, assign tasks to production teams, and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to inspect incoming materials, monitor production processes, and conduct final inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Workforce Management: Assist in hiring, training, and supervising production staff, including technicians, fabricators, and assemblers, to ensure efficient operations and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and adherence to industry standards and regulations within the production environment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain production records, generate reports on production metrics, such as output,





efficiency, and quality, and provide regular updates to management on production status and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements in production operations and implement best practices accordingly.
- Customer Communication: Liaise with sales and customer service teams to coordinate order fulfillment, address customer inquiries, and provide updates on production status and delivery schedules.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in production coordination, manufacturing, or operations management,





preferably in the Shades & Tents industry or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of production processes, materials management, and quality control principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with production management software/systems is a plus.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges and optimize workflows.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
