Procurement Officer and Transport In Charge with Diploma in Civil Engineering.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented,





thorough and organized **Procurement and Transport In-charge** to oversee the procurement mostly for **joinery and hardware materials**.
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- To manage information, inventory, ordering and handling of materials, transportation and warehousing
- Plan and track the transport of materials and workers
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
- Obtain samples for finishes, materials etc.
- Obtain quotes from material suppliers and other service providers
- Preparation of local purchase order
- Ensure all purchased items are delivered in a timely manner
- Maintain and update supplier information
- Maintain records of all purchases, pricing and other important data
- Comply with Procurement Schedules for the purchase of equipment and materials (joinery and hardware)
- Create and maintain good relationships with all vendors/suppliers
- Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply and pricing options to generate quote comparison sheets






- **Required Skills/Abilities**:_
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Preferably with experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
- Ability to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Well-organized
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Procurement and Inventory: 3 years (preferred)
