**Looking for a Sous Chef with continental Breakfast experience. Should speak English and Hindi.**
Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Take a lead role in the preparation of both continental and Asian dishes, with a focus on Chinese cuisine.
- **Assist in cost control measures, including portion control, waste reduction, and inventory management.**:
- **Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.**:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in adapting dishes to meet the preferences and dietary restrictions of guests.
- Provide leadership and support to kitchen team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stay updated on current culinary trends and techniques, continually seeking opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Chinese cuisine.
- A passion for both continental and Asian culinary traditions, with experience working with a diverse range of ingredients and flavors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- Excellent organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
