Senior Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Mentor junior staff and motivate the sales department, especially in the absence of the Sales Manager.
2. Responsible for Sales and Application activities in Abu Dhabi.
3. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery, achieving sales revenue and profit targets within the designated territory.
4. Create awareness of Gates E&S; amongst clients and potential customers by providing information on product range and related services.
5. Manage and develop Sales and Support Team, achieving sales targets and objectives.
6. Meet and exceed annual stated budgets.
7. Maintain existing customer base and explore new customer & vendor base.
8.
Identify customer requirements and offer Gates E&S; scope of supply, exploring new areas of business development.
9. Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through effective customer service, technical assistance & prompt after sales service.
10. Implement corporate sales & marketing strategies to market Gates E&S; Products and Services.
11. Provide technical (Engineering / Design) support for Gates E&S; product range and applications.
12. Establish and maintain relationships with engineering application related product suppliers.
13. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against company objectives.
14. Report and document activities in line with company documentation requirements.
15. Ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
16. Ensure processes and practices are benchmarked with international standards/regulations/codes.
17. Monitor and report on QHSE compliance for sales and marketing activities.
18. Assist Gates E&S; Logistics & Supply Chain Department.
Minimum Requirements:
1.
Engineering degree/diploma (preferably Mechanical).
2. Minimum 3-10 years experience in a sales role(s) in Abu Dhabi.
3. Knowledge on Hydraulics/Hose Application Engineering.
4. Knowledge of Hydraulic/Hose products & related services.
5. Prior experience in selling and marketing Hydraulic/Hose products & services, meeting & exceeding sales targets.
6. Ability to generate and document processes and procedures.
7. Experience in managing customer accounts and project management.
8. Commitment to continuous improvement in Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment (QHSE).
9. Excellent English command both written and verbally; Strong communicator.
10. Proven leadership capabilities and experience.
11. Customer oriented.
