Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join our Sales Team for the Asian Market at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and optimizing sales performance across the hotel’s key segments.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales targets by working closely with the Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations Teams to maximize revenue and minimize inefficiencies.
2. Source new business opportunities through market research and local media analysis.
3. Conduct in-house site inspections, presentations, and entertainments for potential and existing clients to showcase hotel services.
4.
Continuously evaluate market needs and trends, comparing them with current offerings to identify areas of improvement or innovation.
5. Plan and execute sales objectives, ensuring alignment with forecasted and actual targets for your designated business units (SBUs).
6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and trade representatives, actively driving brand positioning and sales.
7. Identify marketing opportunities and collaborate with trade partners to boost the hotel’s presence in the market.
8. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Reservations Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry.
2. Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
3. Proven experience managing a team of 6 or more people, with strong leadership and people management skills.
4. Excellent communication skills,
including email, telephone, and in-person presentations.
5. A collaborative team player who works effectively with others to achieve common goals.
