About the role
As a Retail Sales Coordinator, you will oversee quotation generation and order processing, collaborating closely with post-sales, purchasing, and logistics teams. You’ll assist the Key Accounts Manager and outdoor sales team by keeping AX opportunities up-to-date and ensuring precise communication of order details to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role demands accuracy, efficiency, and effective priority management. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing technical submittals for Retail.
In this role, you will accurately prepare technical submissions based on guidelines from the Sales team and generate quotations using the AX system, ensuring they comply with margins, validity, and payment terms.
You will update and maintain AX data to keep the sales pipeline accurate through regular updates and realistic opportunity close dates. It’s essential to ensure all customer account details are precise and relevant. You’ll also provide administrative support to meet sales, contribution, and order targets. Occasionally, you may need to liaise directly with customers regarding delivery and payment. Coordinating with purchasing, post-sales, accounts, and logistics teams will be part of your duties, particularly concerning purchases, sales, and deliveries.
Additionally, you’ll collaborate with relevant departments to create product codes and specification sheets for new or customized products as required. When needed,
you will assist the sales team in preparing technical submittals and project approval documents. All duties should be executed in alignment with Sanipex Group’s Environment & Quality Policies.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, preferably in a sales environment, with experience in technical specifications and presentation skills being a plus. Experience in the building materials industry is advantageous. The role requires strong numeracy skills, including an understanding of contribution margins and discounts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with any major ERP system would be beneficial.
Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial,
along with the ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines under pressure. The candidate should also be flexible and willing to take on tasks outside their core responsibilities to support the department’s goals and objectives.
