Job Overview:

The Patient Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic to the conclusion of their care. The role involves managing patient appointments, coordinating care with healthcare providers, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. The Patient Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the clinic's operations while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Management:






- Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about clinic procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing any changes or cancellations in a timely manner.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and ensure continuity of care by liaising with relevant healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records in the clinic’s management system, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

- Customer Service:

- Provide patients with information regarding services, insurance policies, payment options, and any other inquiries.
- Address patient concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues to the Clinic Manager when necessary.
- Support patients in understanding their treatment plans, ensuring they feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.

- Administrative Support:

- Manage incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and manage documentation such as medical forms,





billing information, and consent forms.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.
- Assist in the coordination of patient transfers, referrals, and other logistical needs.

- Insurance and Billing:

- Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and obligations, including co-payments and deductibles.

- Compliance and Quality Control:

- Ensure all patient interactions comply with clinic policies and UAE healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration,





or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role, ideally within a clinic or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, medical terminology, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.

Skills:

- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.






- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UAE healthcare laws and regulations is a plus.
- Fluent in Arabic.

Work Conditions:

- Full-time position based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
