Duty Manager at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa
Hotel: Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa (RKTHA), Al Rafaa, Mina Al Arab
Our guests’ memorable experiences have to start somewhere. So why not with you? We’re looking for a new Duty Manager to take ownership of delivering exceptional first impressions – managing everything from registration and reservations to porter and concierge services.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
1. Supervise daily hotel operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
2. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
3.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support as needed, as well as assist in training and onboarding new team members.
4. Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
5. Review the arrival list daily and assist in allocating welcome amenities.
6. Escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in before their arrival.
7. Manage emergency situations and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
8. Prepare reports on operational performance and guest feedback for management review.
What We need from you:
1. Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is preferred.
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; local language or Russian language is an advantage.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
5. Brilliant supervision, motivational, and task delegation abilities.
6. Proficient in OPERA and other hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7.
A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
