Apt Resources a well-known international recruitment agency is looking for a Financial Assistant for a dynamic and fast-growing Trading Company. As a Financial Assistant, you will support the Finance department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. You will be able to help with financial record-keeping, preparing financial reports, and processing transactions. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual eager to learn and grow in finance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Handle daily bookkeeping activities
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Process and track invoices, payments, and expenses
- Assist with payroll administration
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data
- Support the finance team with any ad-hoc tasks and projects
**Requirements**:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Must have experience in Letter of Credit
- Must have experience working in a Trading Company
- Must have knowledge of SAP
- Must know how to submit documents to the bank
- Must know the shipping documents
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
