JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Joinery and Fitout Estimator in Dubai, UAE
- POSITION: Estimator

- AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1 month)
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Estimation of interior fit-out and joinery projects
- Preparation of bills of quantities
- Adjudication of contractor’s claims (measurement)
- Estimating and cost control
- Managing full tender process
- Interpreting specifications, price tenders, and preparation of contract documents
- Interpreting and checking drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates






- Verifying sub-contractor’s claims and verification of Quantity Surveyor’s calculations progress of work at site and material on-site / off-site
- Consistently seek new companies to pre
- qualify for inclusion on tender list
- Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission
- Reviews and comments on technical and commercial specifications
- Coordinates with Production department
- Works with sales to prioritize and periodically review the Bid Calendar to ensure Company is meeting its obligations to submit timely bids
- Preparing tenders, RFQs, negotiating costs and managing supplier contracts
- Calculate direct material cost based on 3D renderings and drawings produced by the design department
- Source suppliers and manage supplier portfolio, including raw materials, finishes, furniture and other stand elements
- Preparing tenders and communication with suppliers
- Provide detailed estimate for different projects ranging from custom made products to tender projects.






- Attend client technical meetings to understand their actual requirement in order to provide an accurate estimate
- Coordinate with the suppliers to get the competitive price for the material
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information

**REQUIREMENTS**:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or any related course
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the same position
- Experience in the joinery and fit out industry us a must
- Experienced in preparing RFQs and tender and bill of quantity






- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under-pressure
- Multitasking and prioritization skills

**Experience**:

- Joinery and Fitout Estimation: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- UAE Driving License (preferred)
