Job Title : Site Manager cum Interior Designer (Residential interior design)
Based at : Zen Interiors Office / Showroom Dubai Branch
Reporting to : Assistant General Manager
Date : 1 August 2024
**Position Summary**:
The Residential Interior Design Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of interior design projects on-site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with design specifications, timelines, and budgets. This role involves coordinating with designers, contractors, vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional residential interiors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Oversight**:
- Manage and supervise the daily activities on the construction and design sites.
- Ensure that all work is executed according to design plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- **Coordination and Communication**:
- Act as the primary point of contact between designers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all stakeholders.
- Schedule and conduct regular site meetings to review project status and resolve any challenges.
- **Quality Control**:
- Inspect work completed by contractors and vendors to ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Address any deficiencies or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations.
- **Budget and Timeline Management**:
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
- Report any deviations to the Project Manager and propose solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including photographs, reports, and correspondence.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and clients.
- Ensure all necessary permits and documentation are obtained and maintained.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all on-site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Address any safety concerns immediately and take corrective action as needed.
- **Client Relations**:
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the project outcome.
- Conduct site tours and meetings with clients to review progress and discuss any changes or additional requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design project management, with a focus on residential projects.
- **Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
Pay: From AED1.00 per month
