Country Research Intern - Liquor

We are seeking a motivated Country Research Intern to assist with extensive research on importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the STAN countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan)

**Purpose of the role**:
The Country Research Intern will play a vital role in enhancing our market research within the liquor industry across the STAN countries. By conducting targeted research and outreach to importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers specifically in the liquor business, the intern will help us identify key opportunities and potential partners in this sector.

This role is essential in supporting our strategic expansion within the liquor market by delivering valuable insights,





fostering communication with potential business contacts, and contributing to our business development in these emerging regions.

The intern’s work will directly impact our ability to establish and grow our presence in the liquor industry across the STAN countries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research and Outreach: Conduct in-depth research on businesses across the STAN countries, focusing on importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Reporting: Prepare and present research findings to Team Asia on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reports.
- Meeting Deadlines: Work within tight deadlines to deliver actionable insights and information as required by the team.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues in the office, sitting alongside Sander to support day-to-day tasks.
- Must be fluent in both spoken and written Russian and English.
- Studying or have experience in supply chain, business management, or a related field.






- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively conduct outreach and report findings.
- Ability to conduct thorough and targeted research on businesses in specific geographical regions.
