Job Title: Quality Management Specialist
Location: Primary Healthcare Center, Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities (Handling DOH and TASNEEF Audits):
- Audit Preparation and Compliance:
- Oversee preparations for Department of Health (DOH) and TASNEEF audits by ensuring that the healthcare center complies with all relevant regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the readiness for both DOH and TASNEEF audits. Review policies, clinical practices, and patient safety protocols to identify and resolve potential non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of licenses, certifications, and staff qualifications, ensuring that all required records are easily accessible during audits.
- Coordination During Audits:
- Act as the primary liaison between the healthcare center and DOH/TASNEEF auditors, facilitating smooth communication and providing all necessary documentation and information.
- Ensure staff preparedness by conducting training sessions and mock audits to ensure that all employees understand the audit process and their roles during on-site inspections.
- Accompany audit teams during their on-site visits, ensuring that they have access to all requested areas, procedures, and records, including patient safety protocols, infection control practices, and medical records management.
- Post-Audit Activities:
- Review audit findings and collaborate with department heads to implement corrective actions or improvements as needed.
- Prepare audit response reports addressing any non-compliance issues or recommendations provided by the auditors.
- Oversee the implementation of long-term quality improvement projects to prevent future issues and ensure continuous compliance with DOH and TASNEEF standards.
- Continuous Compliance Monitoring:
- Regularly update the center’s policies and procedures to align with the latest DOH and TASNEEF standards and guidelines.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations, including patient care standards, medical safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Quality Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving overall healthcare service quality and patient outcomes in line with the feedback and findings from audits.
- Collaborate with management and clinical teams to enhance operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certifications:
Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., CPHQ) is preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality management in a healthcare setting, with direct involvement in DOH and TASNEEF audits.
Skills and Competencies:
- Audit Management: Experience with managing external audits, including regulatory bodies like DOH and accreditation organizations like TASNEEF.
- Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and TASNEEF standards.
- Attention to Detail: Strong skills in organizing and maintaining audit-related documentation and ensuring compliance across all areas of healthcare operations.
- Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively between audit teams, management,
and clinical staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
