The Role
The role of the Business Development and Marketing Executive (BDME) is to support the Business Development Manager (BDM) in the delivery of the Middle East Business Plan and to help in the identification and creation of opportunities to win new business.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience xe2x80xa2 1-2 minimum yearsxe2x80x99 experience in legal marketing and/or an international law firm or other professional services environment is desirable xe2x80xa2 Experience working with senior stakeholders and developing strong relationships xe2x80xa2 Excellent oral and written communication skills xe2x80x93 the role involves liaison with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level and internationally xe2x80xa2 Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint xe2x80xa2 Some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction/Vuture) would be advantageous Person Specification xe2x80xa2 Flair for the xe2x80x98salesxe2x80x99 side of professional services marketing xe2x80xa2 Able to influence at all levels xe2x80xa2 A proven track record of results xe2x80xa2 Experience of the professional services environment xe2x80xa2 Good academic record xe2x80xa2 Able to deal effectively with conflicting requirements xe2x80xa2 Able to adapt and respond at short notice Technical Skills xe2x80xa2 Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint xe2x80xa2 Some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction) Competencies xe2x80xa2 Client centric xe2x80xa2 Collaborative working xe2x80xa2 Commercial thinking xe2x80xa2 Ethical practice
