Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lobby Hostess - Trainee to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the front office within the Rooms Division, providing exceptional guest service and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and ensure guests are directed to their rooms or required areas efficiently.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Manage guest requests, inquiries, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure the lobby area is clean, presentable, and well-maintained at all times.
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in organizing guest services, such as transportation, restaurant reservations, or special requests.
- Support the front office team in managing guest arrivals, departures, and room allocations.
- Maintain guest records, updating information in the system as required.
- Promote hotel services, amenities, and events to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements:
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to guest service.
- Ability to handle guest concerns and provide solutions efficiently.
- Experience in hospitality or customer service roles is an advantage but not required for trainee positions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Hours:
Full-time position, including shift work, weekends,
and holidays as needed.
Experience in Months:
No prior experience required, but relevant customer service or hospitality experience is a plus.
