Role Overview
The Principal in the Energy/Oil & Gas practice will leverage deep industry expertise and consulting acumen to manage high-impact client relationships and drive business development. This role involves overseeing strategic initiatives, optimizing operational efficiencies, and ensuring successful outcomes for clients in the Energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions that meet client needs.
2. Drive growth within the Energy/Oil & Gas practice by identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, and securing new clients.
3. Lead complex consulting projects within Energy/Oil & Gas, focusing on strategy development, operational improvements, and technology implementations.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to provide informed recommendations and insights.
5. Mentor and develop junior consultants and project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
6. Manage project budgets, track financial performance, and ensure profitability while delivering exceptional client value.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. 10+ years in management consulting with a focus on Energy/Oil & Gas,
including a proven track record of managing client relationships and leading complex projects.
2. Demonstrated experience in business development, including identifying and securing new opportunities, developing proposals, and driving growth.
3. Deep understanding of Oil & Gas sector dynamics with specific client network within UAE-based energy accounts.
4. Proven ability to lead project teams, manage client expectations, and drive business development initiatives.
5. Advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or equivalent) preferred. Relevant certifications or qualifications in Power & Utilities are advantageous.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies effectively.
7.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and solutions.
Education:
1. Bachelor's & Master’s degree from a top global university.
