Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Professional Photographer/Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating visually compelling content that aligns with our school’s brand and mission. This role is crucial in capturing the essence of our vibrant school community and showcasing it to prospective students, parents, and the broader educational community. The Photographer/Videographer will be responsible for producing high-quality photography and videography content for various platforms, including our website, social media channels, and marketing campaigns.

Job Role:

- Content Creator: Develop and produce high-quality visual content, including photography and videography,





for various platforms such as the school website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
- Project Manager: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the school’s brand and quality standards.
- Technical Specialist: Operate, maintain, and recommend upgrades for all photography and videography equipment to ensure professional-level content production.
- Post-Production Expert: Perform all necessary post-production tasks, including video editing, color correction, sound mixing, and the creation of graphics or animations.
- Creative Collaborator: Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts that align with marketing strategies and enhance the school’s visual presence.







Responsibilities:

- Capture High-Quality Visual Content: Photograph and video school events, daily activities, and other important moments, ensuring that the content captures the essence of the ICS community. Manage and maintain all photography and videography equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition.
- Project Management: Plan, schedule, and execute multiple content creation projects simultaneously, from initial concept to final delivery. Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that all content aligns with ongoing campaigns and initiatives. Edit photos and videos to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and are consistent with the school’s brand identity. Utilize advanced editing software (e.g.,





Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) to produce professional-grade content.
- Innovation and Creativity: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in photography and videography, integrating new techniques and tools to enhance content creation. Provide creative input during the planning stages of marketing campaigns and suggest innovative ways to visually communicate the school’s message.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all visual content produced is consistent with the school’s branding guidelines and contributes positively to the school’s image. Regularly review and update the visual style and content strategies to keep them fresh and engaging. Work closely with other members of the Marketing and Communications team,





as well as other departments, to ensure that content meets the needs of all stakeholders. Provide guidance and direction during photo and video shoots to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Event Coverage: Provide comprehensive visual coverage for school events, including ceremonies, sports days, performances, and other special occasions. Ensure that all significant moments are captured and appropriately archived for future use.
- Content Distribution: Prepare and format visual content for distribution across multiple platforms, ensuring it meets the specific requirements of each medium (e.g., web, social media, print). Manage the archiving and cataloging of all visual content for easy retrieval and use in future projects.

Requirements:

- Qualifications:





Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Videography, Film Production, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in photography and videography, preferably within an educational or corporate setting. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent software. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of photography and videography work, particularly in capturing dynamic environments and storytelling. Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.





Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with educational settings and an understanding of the unique challenges in this environment. Ability to create 360° virtual tours or panoramic photography.
