Warehouse Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.

**Order Picking and Packing**: Accurately pick items from shelves or racks according to customer orders, and pack them for shipment.

**Shipping and Receiving**: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments, and preparing outgoing shipments.

**Quality Control**: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.

**Stock Rotation**:Monitor stock levels and assist in rotating inventory to ensure older items are used first (FIFO - First In, First Out).

**Data Entry**:





Enter data into computer systems to update inventory records and track orders.

**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

**Housekeeping**: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, removing debris, and arranging products on shelves or racks.

**Assist Team**: Collaborate with other warehouse team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is a plus but not always required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to a specified weight limit).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) is an advantage (if applicable)
