Assistant Manager - Accounts and Admin
- Responsible for streamlining procedures for recording and completeness of VAT/ Corporate Tax as per the relevant UAE laws, ensuring timely submission of returns
- Responsible for all functions of accounting and control including ensuring completion and accuracy and reporting of monthly/Quarterly/Yearly MIS of Group Companies including schedules
- Review, improvise, establish, and implement proper accounting methods, policies, and principles as per IFRS and industry best practices
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations including but not limited to financial management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers
- Monitoring business exceptions like Receivables aging, Inventory Ageing, and revenue/expense variances and informing Business Heads with reports and analyses to help them in decision making
- Handle Letters of Credit (ILC & ELC) and Bank Guarantees; liaise with all banks for new and current facilities
- Responsible for customer, vendor, bank, prepayments, deposits, GL, etc reconciliations.
- Manage a team of accountants to fulfill accounting objectives, train them to achieve Corporate objectives
- Provide recommendations for areas of improvement, control, and compliance Liaise with Internal and External Auditors and ensure timely completion of Audits
- Ensure segregation of responsibilities on the Oracle accounting system and the actual operation for proper control.
- Should be able to provide a commentary on the Internal MIS; its findings, analysis, and recommendations. Highlight exceptions and achievements.
- Admin and Logistics related works to be executed on a regular basis
- Any other tasks that assigned as per the requirements
Preference:
1. CA
2. Oracle experience (Minimum: Any "Tier 1" Accounting software experience)
3. Experience with a Trading/Distribution Group of companies
4. Corporate Tax exposure of any other territory, especially the Middle East
Location - Dubai
Salary - Negotiable
**Salary**: Up to AED15,000.00 per month
