Job Description - Logistics Coordinator ⦁ Department: Warehousing & Transportation ⦁ Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Effective Coordination With: Warehouse Supervisors, Warehouse In Charge, Customer Service Department, Logistics & Transportation Department Drivers & Messengers, Clients And All Internal Departments Brief Description Of Job Purpose: Communication and Systems Coordination -Ensuring effective communication between all parties, including drivers, customer's receiving representatives, customer service department, sales departments, warehouse department, and external transporters until the completion of delivery at each location. -Ensure seamless communication and data capture in the WMS and SAP systems,





coordinating effectively with the customer service, warehouse, logistics, and finance departments. Strategic Tracking and Movement Optimization -Implementing live tracking of drivers and shipments, providing real-time updates to all associated parties, and updating key milestones of each delivery. -Planning, consolidating, and executing the movement of cargo from 3PL warehouses and other inbound locations with cost-effectiveness. -Implement live tracking of cargo from receipt to delivery, providing real-time updates in systems, and facilitating effective communication with all associated parties, updating key milestones of every warehouse activity related to cargo movement. -Plan and prioritize orders, consolidate sales orders, and process cargo movement based on order priority after discussions with customer service and the warehouse in-charge. Data Management Oversight -Ensuring productivity targets are met and maintaining computerized administration and performance monitoring of drivers and messengers.





-Monitor and maintain the productivity targets of warehouse assistants through computerized administration and performance monitoring. -Maintaining accurate route data in the system, ensuring timely updates, and generating weekly accurate reports with analysis shared with management. Time Management and Expedited Documentation -Managing time efficiently to meet customer delivery deadlines, collecting daily proof of delivery from drivers, further verifying, accounting, maintaining files, and completing tasks within the end of each day. Timely invoicing to customers is also a key responsibility. -Efficiently manage time to meet all customer delivery deadlines, collect daily proof of delivery from the logistics department, verify, post, maintain files,





and provide detailed reports to finance within the end of each day. Order Verification and Operational Assignment Oversight -Verify sales orders and initiate WMS activities based on instructions received from the customer service department, ensuring all mandatory details are provided in the sales orders before processing. -Assign tasks such as receiving, picking, putaway, packaging, and dispatch to respective operators as per instructions from the warehouse in-charge in the WMS system. SAP Data Management and Reporting Expertise -Accurately enter and capture data and LPO in SAP, prepare invoices within the cut-off time, and follow up with the logistics department to check proof of delivery (POD) and post invoices in the SAP system on the same day as delivery.





-Generate reports for near expiry cargo and share them with management on a daily basis. Issue Management and Corrective Action Oversight -Controlling and maintaining non-compliance, returns, delivery, and performance issues, and ensuring corrective actions are taken by all relevant departments. -Control and manage non-compliance, returns, delivery, and performance issues, highlighting and ensuring corrective action is taken by all relevant departments. -Make stock adjustments in SAP and WMS as per the guidance of the supply chain manager, conducting daily monitoring of stock, and comparing variances between SAP and WMS stocks.
