Your day to day
Greeting and Seating Guests :
Welcoming guests as they arrive, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus.
Taking Orders :
Accurately recording guests' food and beverage orders, paying attention to any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Serving Food and Beverages :
Delivering orders to guests' tables promptly and correctly, ensuring accuracy in portion sizes and presentation.
Knowledge of Menu and Specials :
Having a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any daily specials.
Table Maintenance :
Ensuring that tables are clean, properly set up, and well-stocked with necessary items such as utensils, condiments, and napkins.
Handling Payments :
Presenting bills to guests, processing payments accurately, and returning change or processing credit card transactions.
Teamwork and Communication :
Collaborating with other waitstaff,
kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene :
Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and following hygiene practices.
Upkeep of Dining Area :
Assisting with general cleaning duties in the dining area, such as clearing tables, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces.
Providing Excellent Customer Service :
Ensuring a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor always, anticipating and fulfilling guests' needs, and striving to exceed their expectations.
