Job Description:
Organization Unit Purpose
This unit is responsible for Country and FI & NBFI credit analysis across the Group incl. Subsidiaries and has to ensure timely availability of such limits to Coverage and other stakeholders.
Job Purpose * Preparing and evaluating credit proposals of Financial Institutions (FIs) and Non- banking financial institutions (NBFIs) by analyzing key financial parameters such as
- Balance sheet analysis to assess capital adequacy, liquidity management, stable funding sources and leverage position.
- Income statement analysis to assess profitability and adequate returns.
- Ratios analysis to assess asset quality, provisions, and operating cash flows.
- Prepare and analyze country proposals for assigned portfolio by analysis political and economic parameters of country such as GDP, inflation rate, exchange rate, fiscal budget and monetary policy.
- Review financial information of existing clients to access proposed enhancement and new limits for prospective clients.
- Consolidate financial information and rating data of external agencies into accessible report to facilitate credit risk assessment.
- Undertaking credit risk assessment of FIs and NBFIs based on various factors such as financial parameters, peer analysis, external agencies rating and other subjective criteria.
- Managing and maintaining the quality of assigned portfolio with appropriate risk / return benchmark.
- Collating limit requirements from various stakeholders in the bank. This includes liaison with Group Credit, TRY and other stakeholders ensuring all credit related requirements are taken care off, with minimal inputs from the Coverage team.
- Continuous monitoring of external ratings downgrade/update of ratings and account conduct of FIs and NBFIs and take prompt action on any adverse situations/news.
- Strictly adhere to and follow approved bank's policy, procedures, and norms.

Proposals
- Prepare and analyze country proposals for assigned portfolio with maximum accuracy.
- Preparing and evaluating credit proposals of Financial Institutions (FIs) and Non- banking financial institutions (NBFIs) by analyzing key financial parameters.
Risk Analysis
- Undertaking detailed credit risk assessment of FIs and NBFIs based on various factors such as financial parameters, peer analysis, external agencies rating and other subjective criteria.
- Conduct thorough countries analysis based on political and economic parameters of country such as GDP,
inflation rate, exchange rate, fiscal budget and monetary policy
Account Reviews
- Timely preparation of country proposals for assigned portfolio as per the country pack schedule.
- Arranged limits for urgent transactions requested by business units and submitting full-fledged/complete interim request to GCD for approval
Compliance
- Comply with the approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organizations and customer's interests. Coordinate with the Compliance and Legal teams where appropriate

Education
- Graduate / Post-Graduate
- CPA/CFA II/ CA preferred
Experiences
- Credit proposal writing experience and working in FI / credit department.
