The requirement to work for an interior design & fit-out company delivering projects across Dubai. The role is for an Estimator / QS to work on fit-out projects delivering villa renovations and turnkey commercial fit-out.
Excellent communication skills and written and spoken English is essential.
**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role:
- Must be able to understand drawings & details, material finishes and construction material requirements.
- Preparing the scope of work based on surveys carried out by engineers
- Must have experience in quantity take-offs and project estimation
- Work alongside the design team to establish project requirements
- MEP and joinery experience required
- Supervising surveys and interpreting third-party surveys.
- Maintaining supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on the tender list.
- Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission
- Excellent attention to detail and forward-thinking.
