Job Title: Kindergarten Teacher
Location: The Emirates National School, Sharjah
Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of kindergarten students.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
3. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Assess student progress regularly and use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and individualize learning experiences.
5. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress,
behaviour, and developmental milestones.
6. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the overall success of the school community.
7. Foster a love of learning and exploration through engaging and interactive experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Valid teaching license/certification.
3. Proven experience working with kindergarten-aged children in an educational setting.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse multicultural environment.
6. Familiarity with best practices in early childhood education,
including play-based learning and inquiry-based instruction.
7. Fluency in English (Arabic language proficiency is an advantage).
