The Industrial Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health of employees in an industrial setting. This includes providing nursing care, managing workplace health programs, conducting health assessments, and collaborating with other health and safety professionals to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Employee Health Care**:
- Provide immediate care for injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace, including administering first aid and arranging for further medical treatment if necessary.
- Manage chronic health conditions of employees by offering regular monitoring, support, and referrals.
- Conduct health assessments and physical examinations for employees,
including pre-employment medicals, routine health checks, and return-to-work evaluations.
- Administer vaccinations and manage immunization programs for employees as required.
- **Health and Safety Programs**:
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health programs, such as wellness initiatives, smoking cessation, and weight management programs.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential health risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with safety officers and management to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- **Health Education and Training**:
- Provide health education and training to employees on topics such as injury prevention, ergonomics, healthy lifestyle choices, and emergency response.
- Organize workshops and seminars on relevant health and safety topics to promote a culture of wellness in the workplace.
- **Record Keeping and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of employees.
- Document and report workplace injuries, illnesses, and near misses in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare reports on health trends and provide recommendations to management for improving workplace health and safety.
- **Emergency Response**:
- Serve as a key member of the emergency response team, providing medical care during workplace emergencies such as accidents, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
- Participate in emergency drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
