The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans and communication strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales while leading the marketing department to enhance customer experience and improve the sales team through innovative tools and engagement strategies.
Key Accountabilities
1. Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that align with Emirates Bustanica's overall goals, ensuring effective brand awareness and engagement.
2. Create, manage, and oversee marketing materials and campaigns including, but not limited to, brochures, email campaigns, website content, social media posts, webinars, and public relations events,
whether in-house or via third-party agencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and monitoring spend returns.
3. Plan and manage events by developing comprehensive plans including budgets, timelines, and resource requirements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Oversee event and onsite management by ensuring the setup, operation, and breakdown of events run smoothly, addressing any issues promptly and coordinating staff and vendors.
5. Support the Sales team by analyzing market trends and competition to generate sales leads and provide actionable insights.
6. Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing activities to provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement to the line manager.
7. Manage the marketing team (if applicable) and oversee the day-to-day activities of the marketing department.
8. Implement best practices for e-commerce sales to achieve gross margin and net margin targets.
9.
Conduct market research to gather customer insights and analyze customer preferences and trends for creating targeted marketing strategies.
10. Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines while maximizing the use of the CRM system to improve KPIs, ROI, and business impact.
Job Context:
The Senior Marketing Manager will operate in a dynamic environment where the primary challenge is the successful implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy while educating Emirates Bustanica on the essential practices for growing and engaging an external customer base. A significant aspect of the role involves executing as much creative work internally as possible, thereby reducing reliance on external agencies and aligning with the marketing budget.
This includes responsibilities in both marketing and digital development, ensuring that all initiatives are cohesive and effectively contribute to the overall commercial strategy.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications or a relevant field with specific experience in a variety of marketing channels including social media, email marketing, content marketing, digital design/engagement, and a strong background in CRM. Previous FMCG experience is an advantage. Commercial or operational background with a proven track record in managing Salesforce and CRM product development projects.
Experience in implementing and managing agile development methodologies, particularly in the Salesforce CRM domain. Strong knowledge of various marketing techniques with a proven record of successfully managing campaigns with clear ROI.
