**Job Title: Civil Inspector**

We are looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to perform various types of construction inspection activities, including quality control procedures on our residential high rise developments in Dubai. You will work as part of the developers team on our own large residential projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interface with lead Consultants & supervise contractor’s staff to determine and verify project requirements.
- Prepares inspection reports and site records.
- Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
- Review and ensure all works are caried out as per specifications,





drawings and standards
- Co-ordinate and help carry out various authority inspection like DDA, Nakheel, Trakees & DLD.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Receive material inspection requests (MIR) from contractor, inspect civil materials delivered at site and report on quantity and technical compliance and sign off requests.
- Prepare/complete the necessary documentation prior to inspection of the works and process accordingly following completion of the inspection.
- Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works.
- Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement.
- Ensure site progress information is communicated regularly.
- Perform all other duties that may be requested by team leadership
- Coordinate the works to ensure successful hand-over of the project






- Attend weekly technical meeting if required and directed by Project Manager
- Attend QA/QC Meetings and identify issues concerning quality standards
- Attend and report site coordination sessions with MEP contractor & subcontractors
- Coordinate with Architectural / Structural / Mechanical Disciplines for ensuring electrical requirements are addressed adequately
- Coordinate with Project Manager for site issues
- Monitor Contractor’s works for compliance MEP QA/QC Plans
- Coordinate with MEP Contractor / Sub-Contractors site representatives for accuracy and sequencing of works
- Report comments on WIR’s as applicable.
- Issue Site Observation Notes and NCRs as applicable.
- Prepare notes on MEP QA/QC issues if applicable.






- Coordinate with Electrical Engineer and prepare responses to RFI’s, etc.
- Check and verify Electrical As-built drawings as applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- Holding Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in civil inspection of high-rise residential tower projects,
- Must have minimum 3 years’ experience working on similar projects in Dubai.
- Nakheel/Trakees experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
- Ability to handle the physical aspects of required field work.
