Job Description
The position is designed to bring process expertise / support for the operation and for the implementation of upgradation projects at sites dedicated to Hazardous Waste, particularly in the incineration and related pre-treatment processes, including : TDU, deoiling tricanter, Stabilization, Class I and II landfill, PCT, mercury treatment unit, and Incineration lines with a capacity around 60 KTA;
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT :
He / she reports to the project capex delivery manager in close collaboration with the local capex delivery team
Key Responsibilities :
Performance and optimization analysis regarding ongoing operation Act as a support to operations Support in the sizing of process and related thermal equipment Support to the establishment of all the schematics (PID / PFD / BFD / SFD.
according to the Process Support for the preparation of engineering documents : Data Sheet, specifications, etc... Support for Engineering reviews (Process Review, Design Review, Hazid, Hazop.
Support for project risk analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline (Chemical / Process Engineering preferred)
- 10 years' experience in separation and heat treatment processes
- Strong chemical engineering / process engineering background in hazardous waste
- In-depth knowledge of engineering techniques and rules Reading of plans and technical drawings (PFD, PI&D;, PSFD...)
- Creativity and taste for innovation Key Behavioral Skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural international environment
- Good communication with project and operations teams
- Good practice of English and Arabic
Additional Information
- Must be proficient in English and Arabic (Read, write and speak)
- Willing to relocate to Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Full time)
- Previous experience in cement industry preferred
